Lachie has had a stellar season, settling in early to the Brisbane Lions and being an instrumental piece in their meteoric rise up the table and into finals. A rugged competitor, Lachie found plenty of the ball this year, finishing third for total possessions and leading the competition for clearances. Impressively Lachie achieved these numbers whilst facing some close attention, most notably in the context versus Port Adelaide. A superstar through and through Lachie has done fantastically well to be aware with his first blazer and selection in the All Australian team.
Not so new to the All Australian lineup is Jeremy McGovern. His fourth selection in the team helping to cement his spot as one of this generations best defenders. McGovern picked up where his premiership-winning 2018 season left off, taking big clunks and damaging opponents from the defence. Known for his ability to read the game, McGovern is a thorn in coaches sides, often forcing an offensive game-plan to try and negate his ability and influence on the game. McGovern finished second in the competition for intercept possessions and ranked in the top 10 for intercept marks and total marks.
We’re super excited to be able to see even more football from these two weapons in this year's finals campaign!
