Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how personal information may be collected through our Site when accessing it on any Device. By accessing our Site on any Device you consent to our privacy policy. XBlades may modify this privacy policy at any time effective upon its posting. Your continued use of our Site constitutes your acceptance to this privacy policy. This privacy policy is incorporated into, and is subject to, the Terms and Conditions.

Though providing personal information is not a prerequisite for accessing the XBlades Site, it is however necessary to provide personal information when placing an order online, registering to receive information or providing feedback. Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, image, birth date, email and physical address, telephone number, gender, contact lists, social media information and profile and when necessary, credit card information.

XBlades may automatically collect information regarding your interaction with, and use of, our Site. Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, Device identifier and hardware information, IP address, browser type and language, cookie information, system type, whether you have enabling software to access certain features, access times, referring website URLs, information about your purchases and other information about your interactions with us.

Cookies are small text files placed on your hard-disk, which are used to improve your experience on our Site and to assist XBlades in understanding and analysing your use of our Site. XBlades can use cookies to identify the owner of a user account and to store articles in a shopping basket during the purchasing process.

Most internet browsers allow you to accept or decline cookies, or to adjust the browser settings to decline all cookies. However, declining cookies may impact your experience of our Site or limit the Sites functionality. XBlades is not aware of any cases in which cookies have caused damage to a computer or user device or facilitated viral infections.

IP Addresses

An Internet Protocol (IP) Address is a small set of numbers automatically assigned to your computer when you log onto the Internet. Typically, we will not link your IP Addresses to your personal information. However, in rare instances we may need to link IP Addresses to personal information if it becomes necessary to enforce compliance with the Terms and Conditions.

XBlades will use your personal information for the purpose in which it was collected. For example, when you have placed an order, we may notify you regarding the status of your order or delivery.

If you contact customer service, we may use your personal information (including your contact history) so that customer service is able to process your request and provide you with the best service possible.

If you have given us your personal information during a sale of a product or service, we may inform you about similar products and services. We may also contact you to ask for your feedback after a sale of a product or service.

Information may be sent to you in a number of ways, including post, electronic mail, SMS and MMS. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting us. Your consent to receiving such communication will remain current until you advise us otherwise.

We will not send you any commercial electronic messages such as SMSes or emails unless this is permitted by the Spam Act.

We may also use your personal information for any purposes required or authorised by or under applicable law.

XBlades will not disclose your personal information, except if required by law, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, or as set out in this privacy policy.

XBlades will, from time to time, use third-party service providers to facilitate our services. We will not disclose any personal information to which you have not consented to.

All third- party service providers selected by XBlades have either received and agreed to comply with XBlades privacy policy, or have their own embedded privacy policies, which are just as stringent (if not more so) than our privacy policy.

We may, on occasion, be required to disclose your information to service providers that are located outside of Australia. XBlades will use all reasonable measures to ensure that its third-party service providers, in whichever jurisdiction, adhere to the terms of this privacy policy.

XBlades has implemented stringent security measures to protect information we have collected about you.  We receive and store the information on our secure databases, located in Australia, and are only accessible as needed by authorised XBlades staff who are fully aware of the importance of protecting your personal information.

If you are accessing our site internationally, your connection will be through, and to, servers located in Australia. Additionally, unless otherwise specified, orders placed with XBlades will be accepted and fully processed, and shipped from, Australia.

XBlades uses a credit card/debit card service for online ordering. As a result, all credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the checkout stage.

XBlades uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is collected. To make purchases from these services, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as Safari, Firefox, or Internet Explorer. Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal information while it is transmitted over the Internet.

We designed the XBlades Site to accept orders only from web browsers that permit communication through SSL technology. This gives you the confidence of knowing that all orders placed are securely encrypted and protected and means you'll be unable to inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection.

XBlades does not store your credit/debit card information at any time.

You have the right to request access to the personal information XBlades holds about you. Except to the extent permitted by law, XBlades will provide you with such access.

You have the right to request to correct the personal information XBlades holds about you.

Protecting children’s personal information is extremely important to XBlades. XBlades feels that it has a responsibility to protect the privacy of children and has no intention of collecting the personal information of children under the age of 15.  We urge parents and other guardians to check on and monitor their children’s Internet usage in order to protect them.

Unfortunately, potential security and privacy issues are inherent in the nature of the internet and no data transmission over the internet can ever be absolutely guaranteed.

XBlades regularly reviews the privacy policy to ensure that it is error free, easily accessible, contains all the required information, is implemented in full, and is compliant with applicable law. This privacy policy may be changed from time to time in order to ensure new developments and opportunities relating to the Internet are kept in line with legislation.
