GWS Giants Replica Indigenous Guernsey 19
This year's guernsey was based on artwork by Wirandjuri woman Leeanne Hunter, detailing the club's four pillars harmony, health, education and employment.
Titled "Football Dreaming" the design features a football on it's front plus the hands of all the helpers along the journey of all footballers at the Giants. Two boomerangs are used to symbolise the acknowledgment and connection to the Indigenous culture. The back of the guernsey represents the club as a community and meeting place as well as boomerangs to represent the constant movement of life and football.
The winning design was chosen by current Indigenous players at the Giants, a few of which helped shape the final design.
