Aliesha Newman

Aliehsa has quickly (pun intended) become one of the stars of the AFLW. Her incredible speed has destroyed defenses and earned her a reputation as one of the most dangerous small forwards in the game.

Her turn of pace was on show in 2018 as she blitzed up the wing to kick goal of the year. In 2019 she continued this hot form, putting her name in contention again for the goal of the year. Aliesha's best game in 2019, however, was arguably the round 3 Demon demolition of the Lions where she gathered 19 disposals and kicked 3 goals.
